The Letter Vibrations
Each letter has its own rate of vibration, and its own specific meaning. A name is analyzed by converting the letters into numbers using a ‘table of correspondences,’ such as the one shown here. This one is known as the Pythagorean Table, and is the one usually used in modern numerology.
Names can also be analyzed by evaluating each letter in sequence within the name, to discover its strengths and weaknesses. Letters (especially vowels) which appear more than once are known as ‘letters of emphasis’. The first letter and vowel in a name is also important.
The ancients taught that the soul enters the body upon the vibration (sound) of the first vowel of the name. This is the reason why vowels were considered the most important part of the alphabet. Vowels are the active part of every word. The table of correspondences used here is the Pythagorean Alphabet.
