Assessing the Yin and the Yang for Yourself

On the next page is a table of basic Yin and Yang qualities. In the left column are the Yin energies, and the Yang energies on the right. Make your way down the list, and mark down on a piece of paper which energy or quality applies to you, in your daily approach to life.

You may expect that, if for example, you are a male, that you would naturally pick more Yang qualities than Yin. Or vice versa if you are female. Interestingly enough, this is not the case, and you may be surprised at the result. The Yin principle is represented by the White Tiger, and the Yang qualities by the Green Dragon. On the page following the table of qualities is a list of traditional Yin and Yang Values.
