How Do I Tell The Difference Between The Real Offering And Snake Oil?

In my experience, there are two parameters to the answer. First, "snake oil" offerings are usually closed-ended, manipulative and follow a rigid protocol of some kind. Second, they promise to provide something that the seeker doesn't already have. The real offering, on the other hand, is already inside the seeker. Therefore, it is an open-ended proposition, and the seeker is already is in possession of everything he or she will ever need.

All that has to be done is to start opening the heart to oneself. And this is a very simple thing to do. It may not necessarily be an easy thing to do, though...

Anything worthwhile in life only seems to come when there is some effort involved in the attaining of it. So it becomes an endeavor of the amount and quality of energy coming out equaling the same thing going in.

There is only one person in the world who can make us healed and at peace with ourselves. And the only way to look that person in the eye is in a mirror.
