Who Are The Rosicrucians?

The story of the founding of the Rosicrucians is beyond what can be described here, yet according to Rosicrucian legend, a monk by the name of Christian Rosenkruz founded the movement in Germany in 1407.

There are a number of different Rosicrucian groups - there are about 8 in North America alone. They claim to have a system of esoteric and spiritual techniques which elevate the student to his/her potential, so to speak.

Since Rosicrucian groups are a closed organization, only members can access their teachings, and since their teachings are kept secret, there is no way of knowing whether they lead to true growth or not.

The Rosicrucians almost seemed to die out during the 18th century, after spreading wide through Europe in the 17th century. Masonary seems to have helped its revival in the 19th century.

Part of the teaching seems to be that by living a better life ourselves, we will in turn teach by example, and so help influence a better atmosphere for society to grow in.
