Attitudes and A Path With Heart - FAQ - A Path With HeartIt Sounds Like A Lot Of WorkWell, it is. Then again, simply being alive is a lot of work, in itself. And work is a relative task. It all boils down to what the person wants for him/herself. I have to say though, that having some clue of where we are going and how we'll get there is less work, and contains fewer surprises, than just pushing ahead as hard as we can. This web site is a good example of A Path With Heart being work. I did the design and building of it myself, until I needed an online shop... I have a friend who is a talented programmer, and he offered to help me do the coding for the site. "No thanks," I said, "I can do it." In other words, I wouldn't accept help. To make a long story short, after a great deal of banging my head against a brick wall, I stopped because doing so felt so good! It became time to admit to myself that I had to choose between what I love to do and what I refused to let someone help me with. In other words, I had to practice A Path With Heart! So, as you move through the site, you have my friend to thank for some of the magic that happens with a click of the mouse! We grow up all of the time. There is no such thing as a "grownup," and while the age of majority turns us into adults, we are, in the larger scope of things, present tense growing-ups, not past tense grownups. As long as we are alive, we are working with something at every moment of our existence. So it may as well be something which moves us forwards, instead of backwards, or digging ourselves deeper into a worthless situation of some kind. Next page...
