Would I Be Wrong To Turn Away From My Religion's Teachings?

With all due respect to the what and how of whichever religion you were raised with, there is nothing stopping you from being your own person, accepting and enjoying who and what you are at this moment.

I believe that the question is not about right or wrong - it is about what works for you. Reality is neither black nor white, neither this or that. Reality is in the middle somewhere, between the two polar opposites.

I was raised in the Irish, Roman Catholic tradition, and while I certainly have come to believe different things than what were presented to me as truth back then, it has its place in the world, and in my world at the time.

I have to respect, honor and accept that, for it forms a core part of who and what I am today.

Ultimately though, the answer has to come from inside yourself. And after all, whose life is it?
