What If My Life Changes?

Perhaps it would be better to rephrase the question, and ask "What if my life doesn't change?" If it didn't, I'd be seriously worried. The simple fact is that life is change. The only thing constant in our existence is that situations and circumstances are forever changing.

Yet to answer your question more specifically, the status quo does feel more secure and solid to the ego. Change is uncomfortable, and this is one thing a practitioner of A Path With Heart learns to trade off against.

The joy, satisfaction and peace of mind of A Path With Heart comes with a certain amount of discomfort. This is no different from climbing a steep hill to both enjoy the view and for the satisfaction of doing it. The view is the reward, and some temporary discomfort (sore muscles) was tolerated in exchange.
