How Do You Know There Is No Such Thing As Chance Or Coincidence?

Well, we either live in an ordered universe, or we don't. For example, the planets revolve around the sun with clockwork precision - we don't ever question this sort of thing for even a moment. Yet, when something we don't like happens, we immediately call it an accident, or a problem, or a mistake.

My question is: if there is such a thing as chance or coincidence, where does the order of the universe end, and the chaos begin?

My discovery has been that the dividing line happens at precisely the spot where we choose to stop taking responsibility for our own lives.

Everything in the universe works exactly the same way every time. The only place chance and coincidence exist is inside our heads.
