Will I Meet My Soul mate/When Will I Meet My Soul mate?

I believe that we meet a number of soul mates during the course of our lives. Some of them are from previous life times, and some are yet to be in lives to come, and at this time we are beginning the initial connections which will blossom in the lives ahead.

During our present lifetime, though, I believe that "opportunity (or love) knocks" on our door a number of times, without a mandatory limit on how many times love comes our way. The next question is, perhaps, the clincher - are we awake to what is presenting itself to us?

Many of us allow ourselves to be driven by fear. This can be fear of poverty, success, abandonment, ill-health, even the fear of being loved - the list is endless. And if we are coming from a place where fear is stronger than love, then the chances are probably slim we will find ourselves face to face with the opportunity for a deep and abiding love.

I really don't believe there is just that one, "special" person and love only comes once. That kind of thinking is nothing but a sideways affirmation of lack, poverty and limitation.

As with everything else to do with living in a dynamic and totally aware universe, as much or more depends on one's attitude than anything else. I have heard it said that to have a really successful relationship is the toughest thing a person can achieve in this world. We can only love another person to the same degree we love ourselves. So I believe the place to start finding our soul mate is to start loving ourselves for the unique creation each of us is.
