How Do Predictions Work?

Prediction is based on the fact that every person has a working relationship with the universe, and that each interacts with the other. There is no such thing as chance or coincidence. We all have Karma, and the universe has Karma. Anything that physically exists has Karma. It fact, the unifying force in the whole physical unverse is the law of Karma.

This Karmic, working relationship each of us has with the universe is a living thing - the universe is very aware of each of us and our thoughts - "not a leaf falls without the knowledge of God."
Numbers symbolize the laws and structure of the universe, therefore they describe the relationship each of us has with the universe. And the universe always gives us what we think about the most.

Prediction works this way: let's say that the lovers Jack and Jill have had a serious falling out. During the fight, something was said by Jack to deeply hurt Jill. And it worked...
Now, Jill, being wounded in this way has decided that she has had enough and plans to end the relationship. Meanwhile, Jack has come to his senses, and realized that all he wanted to do at that moment was to cause emotional pain and damage to his partner. And in realizing this, Jack chooses to take responsibility for his words and actions. So Jack goes to see Jill, and genuinely apologizes and really wants to know how to make it up to her. Jill sees that Jack is being genuine, and truly regrets what he has done, so she decides to give the relationship another chance to work.

Since there is no chance or coincidence in the universe, the question "Will Jill end the relationship?" is directly linked, on the plane of emotion and thought, to the incident between Jack and Jill. It is intimately linked to the thoughts and feelings of both people. So the answer will reflect that which is strongest in the hearts and minds of both people. The answer to the question, then would be "No, she won't."

There is a bit more to it on the practical level, yet this is essentially how it works.
