Attitudes and A Path With Heart - FAQ - NumerologyWhat Do Letters And Numbers Have In Common? They are both entities of cosmic sound, which is the primordial "stuff" out of which the physical universe was originally created. They each, at first glance, seem to have different physical meanings and values. Numbers never change, and I mean this quite literally - the number 7 a million years ago means the same thing as it does now. And it will have the same meaning in another million years time. On the other hand, letters take on different meanings through the passage of time. The core nature of sound never changes - it is the basis of the vibrational energies which, collectively, constitute the physical universe. Spoken words are a part of the basic vibrational energies of the universe, and human beings have developed language in order to express on the ooutside what we are thinking and feeling on the inside. Letters and languages are local - that is, they are, in metaphysical terms, known as "mundane." This means they are transitory, temporary, and dependent on the Karmic dynamics of the culture or civilization (the group of people/souls) who have chosen to collect together at that time to "do their thing." In other words, the meanings given to the sounds change with time, locality and Karmic energies. So letters and numbers have two things in common: - They are both part of the primordial stuff from whence our universe emerged.
- Numbers stay fixed, because they are eternal in their natural essence - while letters, words and languages change with the Karmic seasons of time, civilization and place.
- They are both comprised of sound - numbers representing the fixed symbology of the energies of life and existence - while names, words and letters comprise the fluctuating symbology of humankind's evolutionary (Karmic) journey through the plane of time and space.
