The Life Cycles

There are a large number of 'cycles' in the subject and study of numerology. In this section, I'm using the word to describe the 3 major divisions, or sections, of the Life Path. These are calculated from the month, day and year of birth. They have become known as the Cycles of the Life Path.

The first cycle is represented by the month of birth, the second by day of birth, and the third by year of birth. They change (approximately) at the 28th and 57th years of age. The topic of when they actually change for an individual is beyond the scope of these introductory pages.

When you read about these Life Cycles, keep in mind that they are a subset of the actual Life Path number. They do not stand on their own - instead, their influence is to be read as phases within the direction and energy of the Life Path.

There are also Karmic influences at play in the Cycles, especially the first Cycle, as we, quite literally, start to 'expand into' the latest incarnation we have chosen as part of our overall spiritual journey. Please bear this in mind as you read the descriptions. This means that conditions and situations that may seem harsh, unkind or unloving are actually part of the work we are preparing ourselves to do in this present physical lifetime on the earth plane.
