The calculation That Went AwryBelow is an example of a vital number slipping through the cracks because I took a shortcut when I worked out the Life Path number. I understand it may not seem a big deal at this point on the journey into the world of numerology. Still, this shows an easy way of shooting yourself in the foot. Let's use the birth date of January 24th 1941, for our example. The Master Number "22" in the Life Path was missed. If you look, you can see I reduced the 24 of the day of birth to 6 and the 1941 of the year of birth to 6 before I added the month, day and year together to get the final number. There is a lot of difference between the "13/4" Life Path and "22/4" Life Path numbers. Although the final result is 4 in both cases, they are here on earth to accomplish different goals. | Result of The Inaccurate Way: | | January | 1 | 1 | | | | 24 | 6 | 6 | | | | 1941 | 6 | = 6+6+1 = 13 | = | 1+3 = 4 |
| Result of The Accurate Way: | | January | 1 | | | | 24 | 24 | | | | 1941 | 1941 | | | | | 1966 | = 1+9+6+6 | = 22/4 |
