Calculating the Attainment CyclesThe Attainment cycles, or Pinnacles, are part of the Life Path, and are the result of two Cycles whose influences come together and form a combined effect. While the 3 Cycles represent the circumstances and conditions we encounter on the Life Path, the Attainment cycles tell us specifically about the type of events we encounter as a result of the interaction of two Cycles. Since the Attainment cycles describe accurately the type of experiences that are coming along for us, this allows us to prepare for the situation, and so have the advantage of going with the flow, instead of struggling against it. There are four Attainment cycles, and they follow along one after the other. The first and last are long and slow, while the middle two each have a duration of 9 years. This is because the life starts out slow, rising steadily in tempo and rhythm, reaching a 'quickening', or peak of activity, in the middle years, and then continuing along for the rest of one's life. We'll use June Stadler's birthdate once again as a working example. | Information needed to calculate the Attainment cycles | | Month | September | 9 | = | 9 | | Day | 26 | 26 | = | 8 | | Year | 1952 | 1952 | = | 8 |
Next, we need to acquire two pieces of information: - what the Attainment cycle numbers are... - when the Attainment cycles change... Take your time, and double-check your calculations. The sky won't fall if you make a mistake, although your next set of calculations won't mean a thing... :o)
