Numerology and Name ChangesThe changing of names is known as "Rectification." And it isn't a simple business. There are two reasons for the complexity:- It takes a high level of numerological expertise to get it right.
- There is the matter of Karma to consider.
I admit, that in my early days of learning about this metaphysical stuff, I was excited by the idea of an easy way out of the pain and frustration many of us seem to experience as "my life." So I dived eagerly into learning about rectifying names.
I soon discovered that purposely changing our names clashed with the teachings about Karma. And the deeper I dug, the more I found that the best numerologists said "don't do it to try and escape something (Karma)."
I am speaking only from my experience as a numerologist. My considered opinion is: Think carefully about where changing your name may take you. For, once it's done, there is no turning back. Even if you do change it back, there still are the the potential Karmic issues that even the temporary name change could have brought into manifestation for you.
Since there are no accidents in the universe, and coincidence doesn't exist, this means we are born with the names we need for our experiences in this lifetime. I believe that changing our names is playing with Karmic fire. Even Buddha, with all his wisdom, refused to talk about the why's and wherefore's of Karma and its ramifications. Next page...
