Numerology works like this ...
Since the beginning of time, different civilizations had their methods of describing the meaning and purpose of life by using numbers as symbols. The idea behind these explanations is that everything in the universe is directly connected to everything else on an invisible plane of reality.
Numbers are used as the symbols because they exist beyond time or space, and have a reality of their own. Languages, words and their meanings change over time, while a number remains a number, meaning the same throughout eternity, and so it always means the same thing to all people.
Names and numbers are symbols. They do not, of themselves, make anything happen. Numbers and letters tell the story. The ancient Romans said "Nomen est Omen," (the name is the destiny). There is a pattern, or rhythm, to life, and numerology reveals this pattern to us. In his book 'Steps To An Ecology Of Mind,' Gregory Bateson calls this connection of people, places and situations "The pattern that connects the whole."
Each number and letter has its own vibration and meaning. Numerology uses time honored fomulas to reveal how these vibrations affect our lives. This means that we can use these formulas to time and match our decisions to the vibrations.
Remember, our names and birth numbers do not create the conditions of our lives. Instead, they truthfully explain to us the circumstances behind the appearances. The rest is up to us.
